Product updates
What changed for owners and tenants
Plain-English release notes for visible product improvements. No technical changelog, no migration notes, and no promises about features that are not ready yet.
July 2026
Existing leases are easier to organize
What changed
You can start by uploading or attaching the lease you already have, then confirm the property, tenant, rent, dates, and any future rent increases before saving.
Why it helps
Small landlords do not have to rebuild their rental setup from a blank form just to start tracking renewal timing.
Still out of scope
Importing a lease organizes your records. It does not notify tenants or create a new lease until you choose to start a renewal.
July 2026
Renewal drafts are clearer before sending
What changed
Renewal review now compares the current lease with the draft terms, including rent, deposit, due day, and multi-year rent schedules.
Why it helps
Owners can catch mistakes before sending a renewal to tenants for signature.
Still out of scope
Rental Manager helps prepare the record and signature flow. It is not legal advice, and owners should review important lease terms before relying on them.
July 2026
Signed lease PDFs now include captured signatures
What changed
Print views and downloaded generated lease PDFs include the electronic signature certificate with drawn signature images, typed names, roles, and signing dates.
Why it helps
Signed records are easier to save, print, and share when someone needs the complete lease file later.
Still out of scope
This applies to app-generated leases. Imported lease originals remain available as the uploaded source document.
July 2026
Rent records support cash and check workflows
What changed
Owners can record offline rent received by cash, check, money order, Zelle, Venmo, or bank bill pay, then print simple receipts and reports.
Why it helps
Families who still collect rent outside an app can keep a cleaner record without forcing tenants into online payments.
Still out of scope
Rental Manager records payments. It does not move money, process cards, or provide tax advice.
July 2026
Tenants can report property problems
What changed
Tenants can submit a problem report with location, description, emergency status, mitigation notes, contact phone, permission to enter, and optional evidence files.
Why it helps
Owners get a clearer first report, and tenants have a place to explain urgent steps they took to prevent further damage.
Still out of scope
The app records the report and alerts the owner. It does not dispatch contractors or guarantee reimbursement decisions.
July 2026
Trust and safety wording is clearer
What changed
The app now explains tenant access, owner-controlled sharing, document visibility, and when tenants are notified in plainer language.
Why it helps
Owners and tenants can understand what is recorded and what actions are still waiting on someone else.
Still out of scope
The product is still in early access and focused on Maryland small landlords first.
Early access pricing
Free during early access for Maryland landlords.
We are validating whether existing-lease onboarding, renewal tracking, document records, rent records, and tenant problem reports are worth paying for before setting final pricing.
